Three hectares of pure Nature away you on the southern slopes of the Kyffhäuser hills, about one kilometer northwest of Bad Frankenhausen. Here you can learn about the wonders of the wilderness. Children learn through play and games how fascinating Nature can be. Who would like to be measured in long jumps against the champion frogs and hares? Who wants to climb through a web like a spider or crawl through a hollow tree trunk like a beetle? Anyone who simply wants to enjoy the view can do that too. Here you'll find meadows, unimproved grasslands, hedges and astonishing water-filtering soils.



Finally, you can go on a guided hike and learn how delicious the Kyffhäuser is. The menu includes home-baked bread, freshly pressed juice, quark with herbs and – there was one more item. What was it? Oh yes, the world-famous Thuringian sausage. If the weather turns bad, everything can be moved into the garden hut. We look forward to group visits, especially classes from kindergartens and schools.
